Actor Elijah Wood was born 30 years ago today in Cedar Rapids. Best known as Frodo in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, he got his break with a bit part in Paula Abdul's video "Forevor Your Girl". Not much to dislike about ole Frodo Baggins, except for the fact that the film he starred in forever eliminated the prospect of the nickname Precious for my little girl!!
