My grandmother went to high school in Norway Iowa, my grandfather played professional baseball. I was destined to love the movie The Final Season
. Others may not have the emotional or geographical connections to the storyline but most will enjoy the story of a team and a town waging a last stand against the inevitable. In my opinion one where the majority of critics got it wrong, then again I am biased, I guess you will just have to check it out for yourself.
