One of the most enduring frozen treats of all time the Eskimo Pie was conceived by Christian Kent Nelson of Onawa, Iowa in 1920. How no one had thought of ice cream wrapped in chocolately goodness prior to that point is beyond me, but thanks to this Iowan and subsequently the marketing departments of many multinational companies you can still purchase one today. Go do it.
