That's right, it appears that the queen of TV made a trek to Fairfield last fall to film a segment for her new show. I will not be tuning into the show tonight but I am sure Iowa is one of her "favorite things". I do know that Fairfield is quite a unique city, as the locations of the largest university devoted to Trancendental Meditation nestled in the middle of a cornfield you can imagine the diverse nature of the locals and visitors. Will see if Oprah is able to turn Southeastern Iowa into a top destination for 2012.
