Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad

My wife may object but if I had my way I would travel by train whenever possible.  Perhaps it is in my genes as my great-great-great grandfather Edward Entwistle was the conductor on the first steam locomotive in England before he emigrated to Des Moines.  Regardless I am happy as can be whistling and whisking along the rails.  So it is surprising that I have never taken a ride on the Boone and Scenic Valley Heritage Railroad. By the looks of this photo I must add it to my list of things to do soon, preferably in autumn. Until then Ill have to admire this photo found on flickr taken by Jerry Huddleston.
